Skilled Nursing Care

The care plan for your loved one will be managed by our registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. The State of Maryland has qualified all of our nurses. Below are the essential duties of our nurses:

    • Communicate with other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate on-going care.

    • Conduct start of care patient interviews & adult records

    • Identify problems, choose and implement a plan of action

    • Provide emotional support and/or encourage the use of appropriate support 

    • Engage in Telephone Triage 

    • Encourage Preventive health practices 

    • Engage in crisis Intervention

    • Take Vital Signs

    • Treat bedsores, clean, and apply dressings

    • Prepare and give injections and enemas

    • Observe Patients and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments

    • Experienced LPNs may supervise nursing assistants and aides.
